Tell us about your career with the company.
I started working as a Media Operator in 2008 at Vivetic. This position enabled me to discover my attraction for the field of Quality. Two years later, I was promoted to Training and Quality Manager, which enabled me to hone my skills in the field of Quality Management. Following ISO 9001:2008 certification, I was given the opportunity to join the Quality Department, where I held several positions: Quality Auditor then Quality Manager.
With the RGPD coming into force in 2018, I was promoted to Compliance Manager. My mission was to assist the Quality Director in bringing the company into compliance with the new European regulations. In July 2020, I became Head of the Quality Department, and today hold the role of Quality Director.
What does your role as Quality Director entail?
I'm in charge of everything to do with the company's Quality Management System. In simple terms, the Quality Manager leads, monitors, develops and implements the company's quality processes, with the contribution of the various structures and departments, ensuring their consistency with the quality policy defined at the highest level of the Group.
With my teams, I periodically evaluate the quality system, notably through internal audits and the follow-up of corrective actions. I also support the pilots of each process in their actions to continuously improve the quality management system, geared towards the satisfaction of all stakeholders, both internal and external. In this respect, my activities revolve around the management of certification projects, in close collaboration with all the company's departments. In particular, I am the contact person for the certifying bodies for Vivetic's ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 18295-1 (customer relations center) certifications.
I also act as DPO (Data Protection Officer), acting as the interface between the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL) and the companies that make up the Vivetic Group brand. In this capacity, I am involved in all the Group's activities relating to the processing of personal data, both upstream, i.e. during the study of a new project on behalf of a customer or prospect, and downstream, throughout the project's production phase, and even beyond.
What are the challenges we face on a daily basis?
My role involves numerous assignments for several entities, both in France and in Madagascar. This requires good priority management. As DPO, for example, I have to determine the priorities of each task, including the framing of customer contracts on the RGPD part, the compliance analysis of personal data processing, the formulation of advice and requirements, the verification of compliance of processing or compliance with procedures or instructions, the design and implementation of awareness-raising actions, the design and dissemination of procedures related to RGPD compliance. In addition, I must actively carry out legal and regulatory monitoring as part of this compliance.
What assets do you think you need to fill this position?
A Quality Director is seen as an ambassador for quality. He or she must have a thorough knowledge of the Group and a flair for communication, so as to be able to federate the quality culture at all levels.
Open-mindedness and curiosity, coupled with rigor and the art of being methodical, are essential given the responsibilities associated with this position. The Quality Manager must be alert to local, national and international regulations affecting his/her sector of activity. In addition, a strong capacity for analysis and an ability to synthesize information are required to integrate it and disseminate it clearly to the various Group entities. It is also essential for a Quality Manager to have excellent interpersonal skills, be responsive and remain impartial in the face of the various constraints he or she must deal with.
