The donation collection phase for theMIZARA" operation "organized by the "Union des Français de l'Etranger" (UFE) and "Français du Monde" (FDM), with the support of the International Chamber of Commerce France-Madagascar (CCIFM) and French Ambassador Christophe Bouchard, was a great success.
Donations totaled 234,100,000 Ariary, including 55,300,000 Ar in in-kind donations of 15,000 AFNOR-standard masks, 2,400 soaps, batches of Ravintsara essential oil bottles and several cases of Energo (vitamin capsules).
In agreement with the doctor from the French Embassy, the choice of donations focused on essential equipment for emergency and resuscitation services: oxygen concentrators, defibrillators, respirators, monitors, syringe pumps...
A number of hospitals in Antananarivo and Madagascar's provinces will be equipped with high-quality equipment that will benefit both patients and healthcare staff.
Several donors, including companies and individuals, contributed to this generous gesture.
As a a group committed to solidarity, VIVETIC generously contributed to the success of this project. In addition to a financial donation of several million ariary, Vivetic made its expertise available to organize mailing campaigns to collect donations and provide a "hotline" to obtain information on the Mizara operation and answer questions from potential donors.
The donations collected have been distributed under the aegis of the French and Madagascan health authorities to guarantee their effectiveness and proper use. Priority will be given to actions that will bring lasting help to the country's health system.
This contribution testifies to the company's solidarity with the Madagascan community during this difficult period, and adds to the other initiatives taken by the Group to combat Covid-19.
