We head for the Engineering Department to meet Tanteliniaina RAKOTOALISOA, our Integration Division Manager. He tells us about his role and the reasons behind his twenty-four years with the company.
First of all, could you introduce yourself and tell us about your career at Vivetic?
My name is Tanteliniaina Rakotoalisoa and I'm proud to have been part of this great adventure for 24 years. In 2000, I joined Vivetic as IT Development Manager. Following a restructuring, I was promoted to Business Application IT Manager, where, in addition to the responsibilities already assigned, I was also in charge of creating applications used by production. With the creation of the Engineering Department, I was promoted to Integration Manager, where I continue to contribute to our collective success.
What motivated you to stay with Vivetic for over 20 years?
What drew me to stay with Vivetic was above all its ability to adapt and evolve in a constantly changing environment. Vivetic has managed to maintain its solidity and stability while successfully meeting the many economic and technological challenges it has encountered over the years. It's a company that inspires confidence, and that has given me a real sense of security and belonging.
What's more, Vivetic constantly invests in its employees by offering training courses to develop our skills. I've been lucky enough to continue training in new technologies, which has enabled me to keep up to date while acquiring new knowledge. The working atmosphere is dynamic, and the solidarity with my colleagues and the support of my superiors make every day rewarding. Team spirit is ingrained in the company culture, which has enabled me to develop in a highly stimulating environment.

What is your role as a data integration expert at Vivetic?
My role is to ensure effective communication between different data and technologies. I ensure the seamless integration of data from various sources into our systems, while automating processes to improve efficiency. Specifically, I use technologies such as Python, Bash, Talend and Java to ensure this integration. My aim is to guarantee the accuracy and timeliness of the data that is essential to our performance. I currently supervise a team of 3 people. As manager, I'm also responsible for pre-sales costing, planning and assigning tasks to my team.
In your opinion, what human and technical qualities are essential for success in this profession?
Rigor and adaptability are essential, as technology evolves rapidly. Good communication skills are crucial to collaborate effectively with teams. Technically, you need to master integration tools, know how to analyze data and quickly solve complex problems.
What challenges are you looking forward to in the future?
I'm satisfied with my current job, but I'm always aiming higher. My aim is to stay at the cutting edge of technological trends to guarantee the performance of our integration tools. I'd also like to improve our "Centreon" supervision system for optimum responsiveness to technical incidents. Finally, I'd like to optimize standard application bricks to reduce development time and reuse them on other projects. And of course, I'd like to continue my personal development so that my team can grow with me within the Group.
